review 1: This was a great book, focusing on Lizard and her journey into adulthood. Yes, technically she is already an adult, but as the book progresses it shows that introspection does not have to take place in the form of meditation, it can occur through life experiences..but everyone needs a little time to come to grips with things. I really enjoyed this addition to the series. I also enjoyed finding out that I can come back to this series, it is not like some where I read a lot of them and then lose all interest in the characters.
review 2: This is the only book I've read by this author. It took me a very long time to get into it - not because it's deep, but because I just didn't find it interesting. I do like books with some fantasy, but this one also had a lot
... more of cheesy touches, like a pouty crystal ball, long-shot twists, and lots of porting from one place to another. Although the kids were cute, and the Halloween stuff was fun, I don't think I'll bother with others in the series - Witch Central just isn't up my alley. less
