review 1: I received this book free from the author in exchange for a fair and honest review. This book tells the tale of Sierra, a witch that no-one knew about as her mother disappeared off their radar years ago. She is 18 and desperately trying to find a job so she can escape the system. Along come our favourite witches. Also intermingled with this story is the story of a little girl about to be born who will be the equal of Aervyn. She is determined already about what she will and won't allow, as Lauren finds out. She is also determined on how and when she will be born. And finally, finally(!) Lauren finds love. I've been waiting for her to find her other half and I was not disappointed in how this turned out.I, quite simply, love these books. It is always guaranteed to bring a smil... moree to my face and a warmth to my heart. If these books are classed as Disney, then I'm a Disney Girl through and through. Can't wait for the next one.
review 2: Solid 4, definitely light on the romance (secondary characters get that piece, but it's enough if that's what your looking for). But predominately its a feeling of family and of a newbie witch coming into her own. Definitely got misty at times, but I seriously loved Lauren from "A Modern Witch" and she gets her "Sullivan" but a great orphaned witch is found and "adopted".Narration solid 4 less
