review 1: The entire time I was reading this, I felt like the author was really getting somewhere. But she never did. The wrap-up at the end was just very cliche and unsettling. I liked how she included physics into Samantha's attempts to contact her dead friend, Mina, but felt she really lost me with the drowning scene and Samantha and Isabelle coming back to life. I felt like more profound realizations were possible, but not explored.
review 2: I enjoyed the book at first. I found the quantum physics strain a bit out of place, but it gave the story a unique dimension with interesting ideas. ... moren't feel like the description of the book really matched up with the reality. less

I didn't finish this book. It was ok, but I could not stay interested enough to finish it.

This book is so much more than it's synopsis. I couldn't put it down.
