review 1: Lucky O'Toole is Stephanie Plum with a brain. She's head of Public Relations at a premier resort in Las Vegas and is smart, sassy, sarcastic and as loyal to her friends as they are to her. Coonts has created a memorable cast of characters (tho some of their names were quite annoying) to surround Lucky and the plot delightfully convoluted. This is the second in her series so now I have to find "Wanna Get Lucky?".
review 2: We find Lucky dealing with all sorts of ups and downs she has finally hooked up with her musical boyfriend, Teddie. She is slowly developing a bond with her father/boss. Next thing she finds herself trying to free her assistants boyfriend the beautiful Jeremy Whitlock. Amidst hosting a DJ performing, a boxing match and her mother out to auc... moretion of a woman's virginity. Can things get any harder for Lucky? I really enjoy reading about Lucky her friends and family. Definitely a book I think people who enjoy CSI Vegas will enjoy something like this. Definitely a more adult book than other series. I can't wait to see what the author comes up with next. A number #1 fan for sure. less
