review 1: This book was so much fun! Lucky is quirky and sarcastic and the stuff she has to deal with as head of Customer Relations at a posh Las Vegas casino is hilarious. The murder she solves is not too complicated but the situations and cast of characters made for a very entertaining read. This book is hard to categorize-- part cozy mystery, part romance, part chick-lit. It was a nice change of pace and I look forward to reading more of the Lucky O'Toole series.
review 2: I enjoyed this first book of a new chick-lit series. The main character is likable with moxie and talent while still being vulnerable. The location of Las Vegas is great and eve if only 1/10 of it is based on fact, if you have ever been there, you know how true it can be. The other charaters that po... morepulate the book are funny as are the situations. Throw in a little bit of love and sex and you have a winner. Looking forward to book 2. less
