review 1: This was really, really good. I love a romance with loads of conflict. Heroine Bethany Marlow goes back home to start her own business-a wedding planning shop. Then her former boss throws a big whammy on her: Help lead a wilderness tour with the lead guide, Nate McMann, the guy she was crazy about who dumps her years ago. He's really hiding a secret. Being on the tour together gets them to start thinking over everything that happened. When Bethany finds out the truth about why he broke up with her, she was really angry. Stories like this keeps readers turning the pages, and that's what this one did. I'm not into stories about Alaska and all, but this one was really something. Buy it, borrow it-whatever, but you've got to read it!
review 2: I have enjoyed all of
... morethe stories in the "Alaskan Bride Rush" continuity series so far, and this on was no exception. Debra Clopton has written an interesting tale involving two individuals, Nate and Bethany, who end up learning a lot about themselves and what they truly want in life, and, in the process, trusting God to work out the details for each of them as they lead a wilderness tour in Treasure Creek. The only drawbacks I found were that the storyline was pretty predictable at times, and that some of the main character's attitudes toward God changed a little abruptly to seem realistic in my mind. It is a quick, enjoyable read, and well worth your time. less
