review 1: I love Demetri Martin. His first book (This is a Book) had me laughing nonstop. This one is 100% drawings and there's still some good stuff in there but it wasn't quite as funny. I admit there were a handful of drawings that I couldn't even figure out--just pure bizarreness. But I must say I particularly love his Venn diagrams and charts. That's where his super powers lie. Best for older teens and up, due to some profanity and mature themes in some of the drawings.
review 2: Short, one-liner animations, very Gary Larson (in the best way possible). It took me about 15 minutes to read the entire book, and I'm glad I got it at a library instead of purchasing it - it can even be read discreetly in your nearest bookstore, if you're broke. Definitely laugh-out-loud
... morefor a solid few of the pages, and agreeable head-nodding for the rest. I liked Bo Burnham's book a bit more, which is in the same vein a book of quips. If you liked Martin, check Bo's out as well. A talented comedian, but perhaps even more so, a witty animator. Excellent! less

A few too many crude jokes ... but otherwise there were some absolutely genius drawings!
