review 1: Book 1 of a 12 book collection on everything weddings, by different authors. I surmised it as an easy and quick read and plan to use it as a break from my usuals. Think, older version Sweet Dreams.I assumed wrong though, when the book would go into the nitty gritty details of a wedding prep but it did not, and I liked that a lot. The author just kept with the development of the characters and the storyline and she tied it all nicely in the Epilogue. Even if the story may not be as applicable in the Philippines, I believer of the different joy during Christmas (that giddy feeling) and I just love happy endings..:)
review 2: What a fun read!Combining a slew of tropes (date to ex's wedding, accidental/fake betrothal, friends to lovers), A December Bride u... moreses characters with some history to create a satisfying and believable romance in a limited number of pages. Seth and Layla are very real people in a possibly-could-happen situation where you like them enough to want it to happen.
