review 1: A March Bride Susanna Truitt is an American who is engaged to King Nathaniel II of Brighton kingdom. She is afraid he has changed his mind about marrying her. However, he has been trying to keep the parliament from passing a law forcing Susanna from giving up her U.S. citizenship in order to marry him. He finally tells her once the law is ratified. Susanna is upset. She has spent months learning about Nathaniel’s country and its culture. She decides to go back to Georgia to think. She doesn’t want to give up that last part of herself. After a while, Nathaniel goes after her.I liked this story. I liked that Nathaniel was trying to help her keep her citizenship, and was will to give up the kingdom for her. I felt bad for Susanna, who had to change everything about hersel... moref to get his country to accept her. I got this novella from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
review 2: This is a cute book. Susanna was a cute character who had a rough earlier life. With that on her mind she gets jilted by her love. Then she meets Nathaniel. He needed her help to fix his cottage and garden, her specialty. He also worked at her family's barbecue shack. He has to leave in a hurry to go back home when his father dies. She only learns he is a Prince when he proposes to her. She gets all hung up over the whole Royal marriage nerves deal. She gets that under control and Nathaniel pops a surprise on her on her marrying him. Ooops! No spoilers here. Please read this book. I love this series and while there are lots of authors writing this series they all fit together. less
