review 1: Romance Review: An April Bride by Lenora Worth I was disapointed with this book because Stella and Marshal were not likable to me and everything they did rubbed me wrong. She had trouble understanding his difficulties after years serving his country, but he lost his memory and has no idea who she is.Another problem for me was the rush to the wedding when he was just now getting his life back together and trying really hard to connect the dots in his glimpses of the past. I don't think this was the right time for start a new life together. I understand they were planning and loved each other before, but a little time waiting wouldn't hurt anyone. Stella seemed lost in everything and didn't help.So this book was not for me.
review 2: I made a mistake and read a l... moreittle bit of another person's review before reading this book and it clouded my judgment on the book itself. I agreed a little bit with what the person said when it came to the story line and how the PTSD aspect of it seemed almost like a brush off. With the ending I felt like Marshall's PTSD just disappeared which doesn't happen in real life. There were also times I was getting annoyed with Stella because she seemed to be whining a lot and not really considering what Marshall was going through after coming back from war injured and not remembering things. However, I did like to see that Marshall was trying to fight for Stella even though he couldn't remember everything about her. Another thing that kind of annoyed me in the book was that Marshall seemed to talk a lot more about what he was going through than I would expect someone who went through what he did would. less
