review 1: We have all known that Cable worked in the shadows of the Marvel Universe, but now he is in deep and has risen to the top of the most wanted list, along with is band of equally messed up side-kicks. Forge is bat $#*! crazy. Domino is just as delicious as ever. The Doc is narcissistic and silly. And then there's Colossus, the heavy hearted individual who has the conscience that matches his stature. Put that rag tag team together, put them neck deep in a desperate situation, and throw in Cable's daughter for fun, and this is what you get. It's gonna be a wild ride!
review 2: Cable, time-lost mutant with a really big gun, starts getting precognitive headaches alerting him to threats he attempts to avert - except his team make such a hash of that they end up take... moren for terrorists. I like that set-up, the way the world won't just accept the heroes' good intentions, but the execution doesn't quite convince. Possibly I'm just sulking because Doctor Nemesis' new outfit is rather nineties and he doesn't get as many great lines as usual. less
