Book Review: Mrs. Saint and the Defectives by Julie Lawson Timmer

I have not been reading much fiction recently, mainly because I got a bit bored I guess. There was a consistent recipe to those works which I was reading that I seem to have finally escaped. Mrs. Saint is a wonderful character who schemes, lies and manipulates those around her with the absolute best of intentions. The cover (stolen from Goodreads) as seen below is perfect for a book where you cannot escape your neighbours and maybe that is not always such a bad thing. There are a number of good plot twists and the pace is highly engaging with just enough drama to keep you entertained but not disbelieving.

Would highly recommend!
