review 1: This book was so so good! It was just better than the previous 2/3 by a mile! Love Val's character development, back in love with Skulduggery, Ghastly and Ravel as the elders is such a win.Val's reflection...that's all I'm gonna say.Hansard is the best. Val needed to be knocked down a few.At first, I thought she was highly arrogant and it put me off but then I thought, what's wrong with a girl being genuinely confident in herself? looks, abilities, whatever. In so many books, the female MC always has this "I don't know I'm beautiful" thing going on, and it's honestly refreshing to read about a character that is aware and happy about herself and doesn't need other people (characters) to reinforce her confidence for her. She's got it handled. It's pretty great. And also, rea... moreding a teenager who acts like a teenager is kind of cool too. None of this super wise and enlightened nonsense that a lot of 17 year old MCs seem to develop just because they're the MC. Anyway, epic book! Can't wait to read the conclusion.
review 2: this book is amazing, I mean come on, he looks cool, the books cool, he has a badass hat, etc .What is also cool is the characters because they are really fun/funny (especially skulduggery here who has a very good sense of humour).My favourite part was probably when the town is getting destroyed-and no Im not going to say spoiler alert for this-skulduggery almost DIES!!!But he survives as usual and they defeat the bad guys as usual.So whoever is reading this I definitely recommend for you to recommend this for your friends less
