review 1: More like 4.5 StarsI want to say that so far of this series this has been one of my favorites.Yes, Zay has changed. Yes, Allie is changing. To be honest, most of the characters are becoming more complex, even Alli's Dad. I think these things are expected and I would be more upset if the characters didn't change! And I totally feel for them all because there is no rest for the wicked in this series. It has been one major mojo after another, but this is why we read books - the thrill of the story. And this story is getting bigger, deeper and more impacting. I am liking the series the more I read it. Can't wait to get my hands on the next installment.
review 2: 4.5 starsmy fav so far, although I felt this installment should have happened 3 books ago. We have Allie
... more back to her bounding roots, spending more time alone, while also having just the right amount of shame and terric around to keep it interesting. Finally, something happens in this world worth reading about to the point where you cant wait to get your hands on the next one.I thought it was strange that she didnt see Zayvion for about 150 pages of this book and it was more like a side issue for her, or something she only thought about at the last minute. Most times she cant even cross the street without them having to cuddle. less
