review 1: "OMG POE!!!" That's what I yelled when I finished this book. And that's all I'm going to say on the Poe front since I don't want to ruin the book for anyone that reads this review. This book was a great way to end this series. It's Tap season so Amy Haskel's society experience has officially come full circle. It’s time for the D177 members to pick their replacements. They knew it'd be hard, but Amy should've known that nothing she does in Rose & Grave can go smoothly. Aside from her relationship with Poe, which has the usually ups and downs considering they've only been together for about a month and graduation will be here soon, Brandon comes out of the woodwork to try and stir up drama. And just when she figured it all out, she learns out that one of her taps is in tr... moreouble...Amy-style trouble. Luckily, her D177 family is there to help. And D176....POE! Although, I will say that I wish her big Malcolm was around more. I also wish there was an epilogue! Help us out Diana!!
review 2: This finale to the Secret Society series was satisfying, overall. It wasn't without its requisite Danger! and Intrigue!, of course, but it was well done and I enjoyed seeing what the next class of Diggers were going to be like. The series ended on a high note (but I'm not mourning being unable to follow them through the next years; I think after a couple books, the concept lost its novelty/interest for me). less
