review 1: Peterfreund brings a new and fresh concept to the fantasy world. She twists the ideas of unicorns into something friegtening and scary. The appeal of this book is it's difference in ideas and themes. The unicorn-hunters are likable and well-developed characters that grow on you. The main characters is a strong female that has the potential to be a leader. The plot is adventurous and Peterfreund captures every aspect of the world. Rampant is an action packed story with just the right amount of fictional history and imagery. I recommend this book to fantasy lovers, and unicorn lovers like.
review 2: This book is told in first person by the female protagonist pov. She is sarcastic, funny and kind of baddass.I like the mithology the author created and how she deliv... moreered it to us. Its original, diferent and amazing. A like a lot of the characters, Astrid ( main ) start the book as a normal teenager, with common and anoying problems, but she end it as a huntress. I hated Astrid mother with all i have. She is just awful, doesnt act like a mother should. If you like fantasy, read it! Its amazing :)Bye. less
