review 1: From the moment I picked this up in the library to the last page it made me obsessive. The jumps between the three women were effective although I found Livvi's story most compelling. I didn't agree with 100% of it, but it was really fun to think over, and I appreciated the way that it ended because it felt somewhat true to life. In a lot of ways this book felt very honest to me in the way the relationships between the men and women were portrayed. This book to me was about the way different people in our lives really shape us and it's definitely food for thought. The way the story was told was really entertaining and spellbinding and it definitely did not disappoint. I will probably be picking up another by Dianne Dixon.
review 2: This one is hard to rate. On ... moreone hand I couldn't out it down and was so curious about the mystery and how everyone connected. I read the book in 2 days. But on the other hand... the characters! They were simple, weak and cliche. The main men characters were extremely irritating and I don't know anyone that would have put up with that. Everyone was rich beautiful and damaged. Micah was just obnoxious. Livvi was extremely needy. Unfortunately, the ending was ridiculous. The thought of someone making a life choice based on those facts is idiotic. A three star rating is very generous and has to do with the pacing of the book and its simplistic, quick read. less
