review 1: Wow.. I just loved it, it was fast paced and unpredictably shocking. I did not see that coming and yet we knew it would sometime.... another great instalment in the series... So good to see Miranda and David so solid. I loved the new characters ( the elves ) and I am really looking forward to where this is leading in the next book of the series.... If you want a fast paced emotional, captivating read then this one's for you... just WOW!
review 2: The mark of a good writer. I connected with every character in this novel. I wanted what they wanted, I felt what they felt. My only problem with this installment is the waylay problem all middle series novels seem to have. Some stuff happened, but not anything significant that would conclude anything. Like an elevator... more ride to the next destination. Can't the author just tie up this story about Morningstar and move on to something else 100 years down the line? less
