review 1: This book took awhile to find interesting -- it has an odd chronology, setting up events then skipping ahead a few years, and then doing that about five time before reaching the main time setting of the story. However, once that is settled, it really is a great thriller. I think once thing unique about this terrorism crime novel is that the reader has no idea what the plan is from the terrorists, so you are guessing along with the detective. I think Wolf did a great job of keeping up the suspense, twists and turns. It definitely sucked me in. A recommend for anyone who likes such crime/thriller/suspense stories.
review 2: Very exciting and a real page turner. This could definitely up one's feeling of paranoia about today's favorite villain: the fanatical Musli
... morem terrorist. There are elements in the story that definitely contribute to this feeling. I won't reveal them since that would give some things away. I did guess what might have been a real surprise in the story, but there were plenty of other surprises. I appreciated the lack of profanity, too. less
