review 1: I like how the author weaved this story. The plot is typical - college sweethearts, long distance, one wild, drunk night with a supposed platonic friend that led to two (not one) pink lines - but the presentation was very refreshing. Mainly because of that, I enjoyed reading this novel.Told from the perspective of Sydney and Grace, the story switched between three time periods: the present, a decade ago, and two decades ago. It illustrates how important our decisions and actions are, because we live with the results. It also shows how we can always rely upon our families in trying times, even though we thought that they failed us in the past. Truly, a crisis brings out the best in all of us. And of course, there is always that undisputable fact that a baby in the fa... moremily almost always resolve conflicts and invites more blessings, no matter that the concept of the unplanned baby was the cause of the conflict in the first place. This book is good reading for daughters, mothers, and fathers, too.
review 2: 4 stars.Short review:The writing: Rushed. (3 stars)The character: Well developed. At first, I hated Sydney but then I liked her. She was a great mother. She grew up! When she was young, she was that annoying brat, stupid girl who love to drunk(ok not really but what can I say? She was a bitch back then) but after she found out about…her being pregnant, boom! She became my fave!Ethan, he was a good person. He loved Sydney and her daughter, I wish he was mine lol.And others, such as, Kendra, I love her! Great big sis! Sydney's mother, annoying but a good grandmother. Taylor, a half(?) good friend, I hated her when she was young but she changed, to be a good friend for Sydney. So yeah. And Kevin! Aha! I. Hated. Him. So. Much. Like what the heck? Very cruel and ungrateful person ever! And the last is Grace, I don't know I don't like her. She said she loved her father (not Kevin I mean Ethan) and it was true, I can feel it. But love for her mother? not so much. Always asking about her real father blah blah blah…Hell kiddo, your mother is the best mother ever (at least she tried) imo, you have to know it. Don't be such a brat but well anyway her real father is Kevin so yeah similar behaviour. (3,5 stars - 4 stars) The story and plot: Beautiful. Very touching. I loved it. There was a little problem there, but it's okay. The story was amazing! (4 stars) less

I didn't expect to like this book - when I began listening to it on Audio, I wondered how this title got into my library since I didn't remember ordering it. Beside that, the story of a teenager and her life in High School (soon to go off to college) just wasn't on my list of stories I thought I could enjoy much any more. However, it wasn't long before I grew extremely interested in her pregnancy dilemma and just generally in her life. I dare anyone who reads this book not to fall in love with Ethan! This is a story that reminded me of how precious life is, and that our decisions and behavior (both good and bad) have consequences or rewards, and sometimes both.By the end, I found myself thinking there wasn't a thing I'd change in this book and that it was one of the most enjoyable books I've had the pleasure of reading (or in this case listening to) in some time.

I absolutely LOVED this heartwarming, hilariously funny book about a sweet little girl named Grace (I was hooked as soon as I heard the name), her mother Syndney and her adopted father, Ethan, along with some other interesting characters. This gem of a book, had me captured from the very beginning and I just couldn't stop listening to finally see what had transpired between the intriguing characters. I highly recommend this easy, quick read. You won't be disappointed!
