review 1: Dmitry Glukovsky- Metro 2033 Läsutmaning 55Plot.I Woukd say it's all about the plot in this book. You follow the main character through a shit load of events you can barely keep trackOf them. The plot is remotely interesting but at some points it's exciting but man, this book was really hard to get through . Characters. Artyom or Artiom in Swedish, is a character which shows lots of compassion and hart, though he compensates that behaviour with dumb ass actions some times that makes you wanna aargh him for his stupidity. But he's likeable and strong .Summary.This book was so freaking slow with a lot of fillers and information I had no interest in. The language is oldish and formal with long dialogues from characters who almost some times seem to talk to themselves. But ... moreI really appreciate how unique the story, characters , writing (and names) are compared to other books, I haven't read anything from a Russian writer before. So notMy favourite by far, but I liked the reading. #lasutmaning55 -Read a book from a writer that is not Swedish nor from USA Or England.
review 2: This novel was started from the writer's idea, that each metro stations became to work as independent countries. The world became ruined by the nuclear weapons, and survivors created their own world, based on Moscow metro. Actually, their 'country' works to save peoples, but the situations becomes worsen. There are lots of hazardous mutants outside, and much more dangerous groups inside the metro. This story shows us the human's true color during the apocalypse. I recommend this book to someone who are patient and adaptable to the story which could be confused. less
