review 1: While I do not really understand or get very interested in Greek Mythology, this book was really well written and the pictures were beautiful. I really enjoyed reading it because it was something different than what I am normally used to. I think it was written so that younger students could read it, especially those who are interested in that kind of thing, but it is enjoyable for all ages. It is a great book for students who are interested in Greek Mythology because it gives a clear explanation of all the gods and goddesses in a logical order. It is one I would want in my classroom so that students could learn more about Greek Mythology if that is something they are interested in.
review 2: This book was visually breaktaking! The illustrations are the main th
... moreing that made this book great, in my opinion. The stories were also good, but not as engaging sometimes. At the beginning and the end I enjoyed them, but I felt like in the middle details kept being repeated over and over for characters' stories that were in anyway related. After reading it I thought that the stories were written to be enjoyed by adults and young adults, not necessarily just children. In fact, I believe the stories were a little too violent and/or immoral at times for little children to be reading, but given that it was about Greek Mythology, the content was not too surprising. less
