review 1: 5/5! I am a huge Dorothy Koomson fan. This is her 8th or 9th book and I own all of them, it's a default buy. But I am still yet to be disappointed by her work. She reels you in and does not let you go until the very end. I couldn't have guessed even one of the many twists and turns that she threw at me within this book and I love her for that. Everything kept me on my toes and I had to cover the pages with paper to stop myself from peeking.
review 2: One of the better DK books. I enjoyed reading this book for the same reasons that I enjoy all of DK's books, the writing style and the pace. It had a pretty thin plot however that was based loosely around a cook book ( I did appreciate the recipes at the end though) It was a better idea than the one in 'The Chocola
... morete Run' though which irritated me throughout. I had a big problem with the main plot of the story because I just don't believe that anyone would keep vital information from the police just because their child asked them to. It would have to be a very good reason and the one given was just lame. I do enjoy reading DK's books however and this one kept me turning the pages quickly. less
