review 1: Thoughtful, thrilling, and utterly gripping; Koomson has made a horrific topic (rape/victim blame/disbelief of victims, and murder) almost understandable. We hate that Tamia doesn't believe her friend, but we see and feel the horrific weight of her situation, and learn with her the intricacies of the situation. ***SPOILER***Though I found myself initially disliking Tamia for her reticence to believe Mirabelle, but her later acceptance, and her treatment of Mirabelles daughter, as well as her endeavours to find her killer did endear her to me a little more. One of the best book I've read in a long time.

My name is Tamia Challey and this is my story.WHAT I SAY I would highly recommend this book to you all a compelling read it had me guessing right tell the end i was so wrong Tamia is horrified when her husband scot is accused of something the police arrive to arrest him one night why ? Tami in total shock and she got no idea why he been arrested she going to find out who accuse him of this crime he would never do that or would he ? I like that the book tell you the story from Tami eyes fleur and Beatrix eyes too you get three difference point of view on the same story each story very different who telling the truth ? When Tami discover who the accuser is everything free fall around her but then their a tragic turn that rock her world one person is carries the shocking truth but who is it ? The rose petal beach is a picture that you hear the story of the rose petals beach the petals are in the sea they are the memory of a love one it a very deep story with in the picture the book got lots of twist and turns i felt there was a lot of false trails but i believed them all to me the book a love story with a serious and dangerous side to it I did not guess the ending at all i not going to tell you what happen but i was shock a great book to read 4 stars read enjoy pass one ABOUT THE AUTHOR Dorothy Koomson is the author of seven novels - The Cupid Effect, The Chocolate Run, My Best Friend's Girl, Marshmallows for Breakfast, Goodnight, Beautiful, The Ice Cream Girls and The Woman He Loved Before, all of them Sunday Times bestsellers.
