To the outside world, Saffron is capably moving on with her life but that was before her 14 year old daughter makes a shock confession and before the letters started arriving from her husbands' murderer.As Saffron does a fine juggling act to keep others' and her own secrets under wraps, this novel races toward a terrifying conclusion.Very eloquently and intelligently written, you will be hard pressed not to like Saffron and her family.

... moreot was pointless, but I liked the rest of the book. The secrecy around the father of 14 year old Phoebe's baby, Joel's murder and the creepy stalker. I didn't mind reading about saffron's eating disorder either - it made her seem a very real character. Good book to get stuck into. Definitely a page turner. less
