review 1: Ok, negative first: I am not a fan of the breaking and entering thing, Chantilly, I liked her in the first book, but she annoyed me, with not delivering pkgs. and getting Reagan to drive (yeah, that's going to happen in real life)have you ever heard of call off from work? Despite that I gave it a 4 star because I love the rest of the characters. Her auntie is a force to be reckoned with, of course you've got to love Boone, and the introduction of Pillsbury with the 17th street gang was hysterical, I hope they'll stick around. I thought this was a better storyline as to why she's investigating compared to the first book. I liked the mystery plot, it had plenty of twists to keep me guessing. I'll be moving on to the next one.
review 2: A murder in Savannah is abo
... moreut as Southern as you can get. There is something different about the area. Reagan is still struggling to make ends meet after her divorce. The Prissy Fox,her consignment shop barely pays the essentials. She stumbles across the body of the groom at a high society wedding and so begins the chaos which is so much a part of her life. Reagan tries to clear her friend Chantilly and becomes a target herself. Auntie KiKi is her partner in crime, Boone is the hunky thorn in her side and Bruce Willis is her ever faithful dog. The descriptions of Savannah, the low country pace and the Southernisms are spot on. A fun romp! less

Kind of like Stephanie Plum if she grew up in the south.
