review 1: Welcome to Mackinac Island where the scenery is beautiful. Your mode of transportation is bicycle , foot or horse and cart and fudge shops to make any tourist with a sweet tooth happy.Evie comes to the Island to help Rudy his bosses dad with his bicycles to rent shop. When Rudy becomes the prime suspect in a murder Evie stops at nothing to prove his innocence. The residents are a colorful bunch and had me laughing with there antics. I totally enjoyed this book and can not wait for the next one in the series.
review 2: This book follows Evie who has recently moved to Mackinac Island to help her boss's father who has a broken leg. When she gets their she finds the the bike shop in desperate need of fixing up. Little does she know she will be using her sleuthing... more skills to save Rudy before he looses his shop forever when he is accused of murder.I loved this book. Everything about it was incredible the characters you meet everyone from Irma the local cops mother to Irish Donna. I found myself cracking up over some of things going on in this town like brownies with a great kick to them, to the secrets the residents hide. I can't wait to see where Duffy goes next in her books. If you haven't read this book you really need too. She delivers the right amount of mystery, humor and adventure! less
