My birthday is the end of March, so what’s the best way to celebrate?
Book splurge!!!
I’ve been looking for a copy of 1984 for a while, so I was pretty pumped to find one, especially such a unique and gorgeous cover. My husband’s big thing right now is space operas, so he grabbed two- Stealing Light and The Baba Yaga. We also were both drawn to The Watchmaker of Filigree Street which sounds intriguing and is an absolutely beautiful book on top of it- always a fan of magical realism! I also stumbled on a used and obviously well-loved copy of The Furies of Calderon, which I’ve read before but enjoyed. Lastly, I’m always on the lookout for new YA fiction series, so I picked up Splintered.
