review 1: This is one of the best romances I've read this year! Maybe because I've struggled with shyness too, I could identify with the heroine. The characters were tenderly portrayed and the book was very spicy. Especially for a romance written in the early nineties. The author sure knows how to write sexy. Lovely writing style. Amazingly, the head hopping didn't put me off this time and usually it makes me drop a book.
review 2: The summary for this book is well-written, so I'm not going to re-write it here. This book is a modern day spin on Cinderella. ... morese I was never fully convinced that Quinn could fall for Emily, this book didn't work for me on all levels. That said, it was a fun, easy read, and I did like both Quinn and Emily. The supporting characters and detail were also great. And even with the issues I had, I have added the next book in the series to my wish list for future reading. Bottom line - recommended for fans of fairy tales with happy endings. less
