review 1: This book is 'WOW!'. It was beyond that, but I am running out of words to describe it. This book took me to different levels. When you think you already know what will happen, that is when it will take on a dramatic change. And it just does not end with one surprise. It holds a lot of surprises that will make you go weak, scared, confused, intrigued and thinking all at the same time. I dunno what else to say, but i am definitely going to grab the second book!
review 2: It was one of those stories that made me repeatedly say: "Shit. Ang Ganda. Paano nanaman niya naiisip to?" Really engrossing. The last time I read something like this was Neil Gaiman's American Gods and it just distracted me from my whole vacation. I hope readers of the YA genre won't be intimid
... moreated by the Filipino language used in this book, and won't miss out on such an engrossing story, because it was totally "readable". Would definitely read and buy Book 2 when it comes out in November. less
