review 1: I'm sadly disappointed by this. "Less Than Epic" is an adequate description. It's like it kept starting to go somewhere but never quite decided where exactly "there" was.The ending was terrible. Absolutely NO wrap up and NO closure. The last two pages didn't even really make it clear what DID happen. There were great things in this. The section in the middle with like 12 pages where no one said a word and it still said so much about how their friendship developed was beautiful. The art was gorgeous and consistent as hell for something worked on over 5 years. I applaud the artist's skill and style. I'm just disappointed by how it ended. It could have gone so many better ways than that. And not just happy-ending variety... It just could have actually ... fini... moreshed.
review 2: TJ and Amal has been on the internet since 2008. The story began that year, and some minutes ago the story ended. I began reading this story two and half years ago and even though I haven't been in the whole journey of 6 years reading this amazing webcomic, I can say that, at least for me and many more I'm sure, reading TJ and Amal has been incredible. E.K has done an amazing job in creating this beautiful and awesome comic. It surprised me a lot when I first started reading it. E.K's style is beautiful, the story is well written, the characters, oh I could talk about them for hours, they are absolutely interesting but also lovely and endearing. I've cried, shouted to the computer, laughed with them. Like I said, this has been such an amazing journey. E.K has done an amazing job. less
