review 1: I have been waiting for Lee's book forever. I knew there was more to him! I mean how could you not love a grumpy, pissy, moody vampire? Well let me tell you he has met his match Lexi brought that big bad vamp to his knees figuratively and hey literally as well. Lol this was so worth the wait. The progression of the series has been amazing. As always I simply love all the characters new and old! This as well as this series is a must read!
review 2: My summary:Alexia has had a crush on Lee, the vampire king's second in command, since she first met him. Lee is also attracted to Alexia, but he's hated humans for centuries. He pushes her away. Lexi makes plans to leave the vampire compound as soon as her friend, the queen, has her baby. Meanwhile, a deadly threat f... morerom Lee's past is resurrected and there is treason in the vampire community. Humans and vampires are in danger. Lexi is in danger from all sides.To top everything off, Lee is dying. He discovers that Lexi's blood is the cure. Will Lexi believe that he wants her for herself, or because of her blood?My thoughts:Both Lee and Lexi are stubborn and combative, almost to the very end. It seemed like they were constantly fighting.There is a lot of action that keeps the book moving forward.There is a nice subplot involving Teresa and Zander. We also see the beginning of Siddoh and Ivy's story.The ending is emotionally satisfying. less
