review 1: I got this book because I liked the premise of a guy crashing a wedding to try for a second chance. The author is a good storyteller and got a lot packed in to this short story. My only regret was my sympathy for the poor guy left at the altar because I felt like he got used. I understand the dynamics of why it took until the last minute, but Holly and Jack's HEA was bittersweet for me. Nice short steamy contemporary romance.
review 2: I got "My Ex Wife's Wedding" on a whim - looked light hearted and it was short. The leading man was pretty loveable & sexy, no question. But I really had a problem with him waiting until literally the moment of the wedding to profess his love etc etc to his ex-wife. It just struck me as a low class move for so many reasons. D... moreon't get me wrong - I think he should have declared himself and tried to put his family back together, but maybe a week sooner? None the less, the story was well written, had plenty of steamy love in the right spots, and no loose ends which is always nice. less
