review 1: Reviewed for heartsonfirereviews.comA man in a feather boa. Is there anything better? Our hero, Jesse, begins the story with stated feather boa as part of his ensemble, which also includes eyeliner and a very tight shirt. He is at Cerulean Sphere bar, where he meets Craig, who travels for his job (doing audits) and looks for hook ups to keep him occupied. This happy little twink is just not his type, even when Jesse offers a no-strings-attached blow job. Craig definitely gives a no, changes his mind and is interrupted by a best friend emergency. Craig ends up present at Jesse’s 21st birthday party, where they do manage to hook up, including a birthday spanking of Jesse by Craig. Neither is really looking for anything more, and it’s left there. Fast forward thre... moree years and Craig is again back in the same town for business, and remembers the cute twink in the boa. Imagine his surprise to run into said twink, who is now more of a man and a businessman at that. Craig promptly jams his foot right into his mouth and then has to try to figure out how to fix it. The story is sweet and flows well. There are a lot of pages of sex for such a short story, but as they aren’t right in a row, it’s a minor quibble. Jesse is a great character, because he is so much more than his outward appearance would suggest. Craig having to come to terms with what he wants is an interesting. His eyes open rarely slowly, but some of it is off page, happening in the three years they haven’t seen each other. It’s a quick, light, funny story with very likeable characters and a miscommunication that could actually occur. A very enjoyable read.
review 2: This was a really cute story about a guy who travels a lot for work who hooks up with a twink, completely with pink feather boa who is totally not his type, but whom there may be more to than he thoughts. It was nice they were both content to just have a fun weekend together. A few years later they meet up on the job, but there is a bit of a misunderstanding when Jesse assumes he is ashamed of their relationship. However they eventually work it out and show they've both grown up since they just wanted to have a good time and nothing more. The cover was prefect on this one and I do love me a feather-boa wearing boy. A nice little read. less
