review 1: Just finished reading The Fantasy (A Desperate Man, Book one) by Ella Frank and Brooke Blaine and I am happy I did! Loved the fact that is written from Evan's POV and it gives the reader a chance to understand what he's dealing with. Often sex addiction is portrayed as just an excuse, mostly used by men, to fuck anything that moves and that is problematic. There are people, men and women, who see their lives destroyed by their constant need for sex and, rarely, we are given a realistic depiction of their struggle. I am very curious to see how the relationship between Evan and Reagan will unfold amidst his addiction so I am for sure looking forward to the next book! The Best: The portrayal of Evan's addiction. Reagan! She's a strong woman with secrets. Is there anything mo... morere inciting than that?! Well done, Ella and Brooke! Buy it? Certainly. It's an enjoyable and fast read! The fact it's well written doesn't hurt either.
review 2: **** Adult****Evan James has an addiction, he's a sex addict. He will do anything to find his release. It has practically almost ruined his life. He claims he wont do anyone twice. But a Blond he had a wonderful couple of hours with turns out to me his new boss, it can only mean trouble. He has become totally obsessed with her. He is unable to find a release. Reagan has totally consumed him.This is my first read from both these authors (Ella Frank and Brook Blaine), I have to say, it was pretty great. The sex intense, and Evan holy shit, you must read this if only for the last scene between Evan and Reagan.. Just wow! I cant wait for more.Happy Reading! less
