review 1: It's been days since Jennifer heard from William and he's gone MIA again. Just when she thought they were going to figure things out, he disappears. Maybe taking sex out of the equation removed his interest in her as well. If that's the case, she's glad it's over. Jobless William is not a pretty sight. If fact, "pity party" has a new address and it's his living room. Until a certain woman shows up and changes it all. The fifth installment of the series is brilliant. Ingrid is still there in the background tormenting the Stratford men. Edward is struggling with William's old job. But the surprises are amazing and Jennifer and William get a little closer to home.
review 2: I really liked this book of the series. I felt so terrible for William, how he was treated ... moreby his father was awful but I loved how Jennifer handled the situation, took charge and made things happen. I like how they came together for the same purpose and this also heightened their relationship. Then we have sleazy Hank again coming around trying to cause her trouble. I enjoyed reading about them working together and showing each other support. His brother makes me so angry one time but then I think he is great the next time, he is confusing. I was happy how his father reacted, it was about time and I loved that Jennifer is coming to brunch. I think it is so funny about the bird slippers (that is all I will say on that subject lol). I could not believe who showed up at Jennifer's apartment and then how she thought she could treat her so badly, I was so proud of Jennifer for sticking up for herself and then what happened after that was a shocker, wow she better go down for that. Then to see William's reaction it broke my heart how sad he was but at the same time it made my heart swell up because of what he discovered from all of this. Can't wait for the last one but at the same time will miss reading this series. less
