review 1: (Mommy's review from 3/4/12) This is, I think, the fourth Puppy Place book we've read and the first Special Edition. Julia likes these enough that she wants to read more and she's picked out which she wants to read first (from the covers and titles shown in the back of each book.)I like how each of the books covers a different breed of dog while staying with the same main characters. That's perfect for the age range these are geared towards.I liked how in this book Lizzie an Charles are so active with the demonstration and petition and all. Not that they aren't active in the other books - they certainly are - but this is a different sort of active.I loved Mr. Beauregard's character so much too! He was an awesome edition. Lizzie and Charles' Dad and Charles' friend Sammy br... moreing a certain amount of 'realistic' to the story also.
review 2: I loved this book because it was hilarios and fantastic I would recomend this book to all dog lovers and love a fun read.This book is about two chihuahua puppies that are brothers who came from a puppy mill who need a caring forever home.But they need a lot of patience and training.Chica [the black and white puppy] needs potty training.Chewy [the tan and white one] has a bitting habit.When Lizzie and Charles find out to solve the problem the guy who brought the puppies adopted the two cute chihuahuas.I asked myself why were puppy mills invented and why do they do such a crule thing? less
