review 1: I was pleasantly surprised by Ms. Tippetts' "Someone Else's Fairytale." I had this preconception of what the book was going to be about, and man, was I wrong!There is a fair amount of "for real, now?!" regarding the main character, Chloe, but at the same time once you get to know her and why she is the way she is, where she stands on certain things is clear. I loved the secondary characters, I felt that they were written very well and look forward to more books by Ms. Tippetts. Her writing style was enjoyable, not like others where it felt stilted or the storyline overdone - with Ms. Tippetts, I could not stop laughing or "awww-ing" at the adorable things that Jason did for Chloe and his family. This is one author that will remain on my favorites list and be an auto-buy fo... morer me.Well done!
review 2: I read this book as a break from all the other romances I have been reading. Chole is by far a girl with a strong will and a messed up head when it comes to men. She is scared in more ways than one. I really enjoyed her. Now her friends on the other hand while practical and sometimes funny they just didn't really feel significant in the story. I could tell what was going to happen with each one. Matt I was hoping was going to come in second and be the guy the knight in shinning armor. I found myself mad at him and not really liking him in the end. I mean he didn't really do anything that made me want to hate him I just didn't like him.. As the story goes through its paces when I think I was almost done I wasn't. I looked down around the 64% mark shocked to see that the story was not over yet.I really like the Authors style of writing the story moves along and gives you a twist or two. This book even held a little bit of mystery and it was good. I suggest if your looking for a little break from all the romance in your life this is a good break. less
