Someone Else's Fairytale

review 1: This was a very quick read for me. I have to say I preferred the first book, but I still liked this one. Like many readers Jason disappointed me a little. It felt to me he got his priorities wrong. His relationship with Vicky took precedence over his feelings towards his wife, at least it felt that way to me. Chloe was the star of the book for me.The police investigation side of the book was well done and made up for my frustrations with Jason and the lack of time the two characters spent together. I finished the book feeling a little let down, but it won't stop me continuing to read the series.
review 2: Definitely worth every five stars!This book is even better than the first one. After the happy ending of Someone else's fairytale, I am usually some what scep... moretic about a second or even a third book in the series. However, this sequel completed the fairytale as a whole. The main focus of the book wasn't on the love story, but more on how the Jason and Chloe developed as a person. The focus on Chloe's homicide case was a good attribution to the book and I was hooked from beginning till end. I also really loved to see Kyra make an appearance again. Not a very large role, but big enough to understand that she, too, had grown immensely as a character during the year that passed. This book, and also the first one, really made me think more positively as well. Chloe takes everything that gets thrown her way in life in stride and now she even is encouraging other people to do the same. There are letters being post to the gate of her and Jason's house and that was a really nice little touch. And the last part in the book, where an unexpected person makes an appearance also really touched my heart.In the end, this book really made you believe in fairytales about love again :) less
