review 1: It's rare that I give a book I one or two stars so the book has to have major problems. Lily was very annoying, judgmental and selfish. Also reading about how dedicated Lily and her father where to the art center didn't come across as noble to me but rather creepy and obsessive. I kept thinking does this girl having any life of her own. What does she do besides obsess over this art center and live like a pauper? Why doesn't she have a job that pays her instead living a poverty to support her fathers dream. Her dad washroom and selfish man and thankfully there was little time wasted on him. Caulder was hot but that's about it. The overall story was predictable and I knew the ending about 5% into the story. The is a part two to the book but I won't be reading it. T... morehis reader can not live by sex scenes a lone.
review 2: Hmmm....different. I sometimes don't like a story line that is too far fetched. Yet, this is interesting.Lily definitely has some guts! What on earth was she thinking? Her ex boyfriend really did a number on her; more than she realized. Suddenly Lily is making some crazy decisions that she finds herself questioning.Calder is such a selfish, condescending jerk! Suddenly he finds Lily at his home. What on earth is she doing? Is money really all that matters? Things aren't always what they seem.Can Lily get Calder to reconsider the donation to the Center? To what lengths will Lily go to get that donation? What is really going on with Calder? Can't wait to see what the next step holds for Lily and Calder. less
