review 1: Book 3 of The Game series has us back with Abbi. If you remember Abbi, we met her in book 1 and she is Maddie's best friend who is also the girl her brother nearly destroyed. Abbi is trying to piece her life back together after nearly succeeding in taking her own life. After spending a year in a mental institution, she is back home and living with her parents and reclaiming her love of ballet. Then she meets Blake, her new dance partner and Blake stirs feelings she never thought she would feel again. This book had a completely different feel to it than the other two books in the series. Maybe because it was set in NY, and we didn't have the whole group of friends and their banter. This book was just okay for me.
review 2: Abbi has been through quite the ringer
... more trying to recover from all of the damage Pearce did to her. Blake moves here from England with baggage of his own. They find themselves dancing to achieve goals they have set for themselves. Along the way they discover feelings for each other and try to overcome Abbi's reluctance to trust another man. Ballet dancing was incorporated throughout this book and was well done. Emma Hart did another great job of bringing Maddie back into the picture to support Abbi after the damage done by her brother. Overall a good, solid read and quite interesting. less

Such a sweet sad romantic book. But very different from the first two. Can't wait for book four.

Not bad. I liked the first two books better. It was a good book though.
