review 1: Considering my obsession with all things "Forbrydelsen", there was no way I was not going to like this book. And it is very funny, great for finally understanding any plot holes you where wondering about, or as a guidebook in becoming Danish.It's a super light read, and a nice way to pass time between episodes. But, it does also feel it might have been a little bit too quickly put together. There are unnecessary spelling mistakes, the Danish culture advises some times don't make sense (and sometimes are just wrong, but this probably only bugs me as a half-dane), and there are factual mistakes, but all in all it's fun and entertaining.Contains massive spoilers for the two first seasons though, so watch them first! review 2: As a huge fan of "Forbrydelsen" I pre-ordered this companion. It had a much lighter tone than I had expected though given the bleakness of the series it was nice to have a little humour from cast and others involved.It contains extensive spoilers for Seasons 1 & 2 and tidbits about Danish culture. There are also a number of knitting patterns for those who wish to re-create the Sarah Lund look.It proved a fun book to dip into and it made me wish I was a knitter. less
