review 1: I did like this book, but I think I enjoyed the other two in the series a little better. I do like her characters and storylines, but this one just seemed a little lacking. The female character was less interesting than normal and things in this story just seemed to fall into place a little too easily. I wanted more, I guess. Maybe I wanted things to come to more of a head at the end...a little more drama, a little less sunshine and roses.
review 2: I was really looking forward to this one - Michael seemed to have so many secrets. I liked the subtlety with which she showed how Michael hurt Julianne by not sharing with her, except in bed. And I liked that she wasn't a doormat for him - she challenged him about the way he treated her. Michael thinks he's doin... moreg such a good job keeping his marriage separate from his job, but in the end realizes he hasn't done that at all. Nice finale to the series. less
