review 1: The illustrations tend towards lots of blues, greens, and oranges but are clear and it is easy to differentiate the various characters. There is enough backstory for a reader to understand the action without having read the earlier books in the series. Those who have read the text version will likely find this a bit too brief for their liking. However, it may tempt some into reading the text version if they haven't.
review 2: What is not to love? I love it all. This is probably my favorite book in the Artemis Fowl series so of course I will adore it as a graphic novel.I loved the first time flipping through the pages and seeing my favorite scenes come to life. Finally, my initial glee calming enough to actually read the words in the bubbles, I take in the whole... more thing. It was exactly everything I remember from the novel only now it has pictures. less
