review 1: Až přijde čas, kdy budu kupovat komiksy ze zahraničí, tak Maddy Kettle bude bezpochyby jeden z prvních, ne-li přímo první (aspoň ze sekce dětských komiksů). Tolik nápadů pohromadě jsem neviděl už hodně dlouho... A ta kresba! Těch 90 stránek uteče vcukuletu a po nich se vám bude chtít řvát, proč už není další část? Hlavně mě pořád dojímá ta obrazotvornost autora. Fakticky, stojí to za to!
review 2: It would have been so much easier to come down with a positive opinion of this book if the proof file had worked – I thought for a while the book was suitably editing out anything extraneous – no, it was all over the place and leaving far too much out with blank pages and putting everything into a cockamamie order. What I c... moreould gather from it was almost wholly positive, however – a girl living on a train hiding from spidergoblins and the witch that turned her parents into kangaroo mice. There's some kind of suitable quest, and it appears to have been done very finely, with a large format and all-ages friendly approach, and a good artistic style. But in the cut-up form I saw it, I can't say for sure how rounded and naturally quirky the adventure is, nor how enjoyable it might in reality read. For those who say that e-books are nothing like the real thing, in this instance I hope that never a truer word has been said. less
