review 1: Albania/Macedonia - I generally enjoy political thrillers. I couldn't find the first two in the series and hoped I could "catch up" with the story. Wow, it was difficult. The ghost of Jack's daughter visited the main characters and that made the book a little weird. A lot of doors were left open for the book. At the end of the book, the man I thought was a bad guy didn't seem to be thought of that way by the characters in the book. I do have the next book so I'll give it a whirl but it will be low on my reading list.
review 2: My favorite type of book, suspense with some action. A great author of these types of books. Of course it isn't very realistic when you start to think about how they solve their problems and how many "bad" people die but the good guys w... morein and I like that a lot.Good story that travels through a political morass in Washington D.C. to the "wilds" of Albania with a smidgen of revenge and terrorism. less
