review 1: I thought that this book was a good sequel to the Bourne Sanction. I liked it because it tied everything together. If you read the first book it showed Arkadin's motives and made it a very worth while read. It also has a good storyline and is very suspenseful. I would recommend this book to everyone who has read the previous book because the storyline revolves around the other book's storyline. But other than that I would recommend this book to everyone.
review 2: Having not read any of the previous Bourne novels, but remembering that I really enjoyed EVL's The Ninja I gave it a whirl on holiday. Of course I have seen the movies and this probably (definitely) influenced my take on the book. Lustbader has a great eye for action and plot but this was still a
... more little draggy at times. Almost like cutting through the fat to get to the juicy bits. I kinda agree that Bourne shared top billing with a few other characters and this detracted from the overall pace of things, though it may be due to the complexity of the plot and the need to bring it together.Good, but not great and hasnt inspired me to read the earlier novels. less
