review 1: This was a book I won through a giveaway and what an excellent one to win! It was the perfect book to read after a busy day, not an outstanding award winner kind of book, but a guilty pleasure! I was actually thinking about this book on the way home because I was excited to read it. Kellison created excellent characters and though I found the plot a bit rushed at times, it was a great story! (Maybe I just wanted it to last longer.) I'll definitely be looking for more by this author and recommending it.
review 2: I really liked this book. For me it wasn't as good as let's say Shadow man or Shadow Fall but still a good read. By the time I was 90% through the book I had so much anxiety I thought my heart would stop LOL. I got a little bit tired of the on-again-off... more-again never-forever of the relationship of Jack and Kaye, but at the same time I understood why they felt it had to be that way. Just goes to show how important communication is in any relationship, and even Angels don't get it right all the time! I love revisiting old characters, especially Khan and Custo. less
