review 1: This was my first book by this author and I actually enjoyed it. I loved the connection between two characters and I like that their wasn't a whole lot of sex scenes because sometimes it's good to just keep it simple. My favorite part of the book was when they had their first real dance and they way ppl saw the hero looking at the heroine, it was like I was there in the ballroom with them watching love blossom. I would read again.
review 2: I'm not one to rehash a story as so many people already have. Here is my take: Fun read, not as good as the other two. Still worth reading. There are some very delicious little pieces in here and I found myself in tears of laughter in many wonderfully written parts but I can't get past a couple character flaws that irk me. F... moreirst our hero is a charmer to the nth degree. It would make me automatically not like him but I liked Richard more in the last book. His power of persuasion and always getting what he wants makes me want to punch him in the face or at least go running in the opposite direction and I didn't really find him to change all that much. This leads me to our lady. She is suppose to be the one girl willing to turn him down. I think an opportunity was really missed here to go all the way with that idea. For such a strong willed girl she fell awfully fast for this charmer and it makes me want to mentally shake her until her teeth rattle. I just didn't believe it. Still good. less
