review 1: I got this book 2 weeks ago, as soon as I heard it came out. Eve Langlais is pretty much an auto buy for me, especially her FUC series. I have no idea why I waited those 2 weeks to read this. I so thoroughly enjoyed it. In my opinion, nobody can write with the same mixture of wit, suspense, and steam that she can. It is so funny in parts, I was laughing out loud. I have know idea how she does it without making the story seem silly. There are a bunch if books that come before this in the series. I have read and enjoyed them all, but I think the author does a decent job quickly explaining the backstory so if you want to read this as a stand alone, I think it should work. I would still recommend starting with the rest of the series, mostly because I think they are al... morel pretty good, but also it would introduce you to some ongoing characters and events.
review 2: I loved the story line of Doe and the Wolf. The character development was great, and it was nice to see Miranda and Chase again. Everett and Dawn are great characters, the many three little pigs references were really funny. This book had me busting out laughing at some inappropriate times. My family would look at me and just shake their head at me. Just make sure that you are not eating or drink anything while you are reading this so you don’t spray on your kindle or book from laughing.Poor Dawn is scared that if anyone sees her doe that she would be a laughing-stock. Plus she is not a homicidal maniac like the other experiments. Yeah she might like one particular big , bad wolf now , but her only worry is hopefully his family won’t serve her up for thanksgiving dinner. I really loved this book, and I give it 5/ 5 stars. less
